David T. Wang

David T. Wang is the Founder and Managing Shareholder of Wang Legal Group. He is an experienced and strategic advocate who has specialized in employment litigation his entire career. David also proactively advises employees to help them with any workplace issue they encounter. For all his clients, David is an advocate, partner, and coach to help them reach their goals quickly and efficiently.

David began practicing labor and employment law in 2008.  He began his career at Kamer Zucker Abbott, regularly ranked as the top labor and employment law firm in Nevada.  There, he served clients in the hotel and gaming, high-tech, and healthcare industries. In 2010 he returned to his home state of California where he joined Jackson Lewis, widely recognized as one of the best labor and employment law firms in the United States.  At Jackson Lewis, he successfully represented Fortune 500 companies, small startups and other clients with their litigation disputes and advice/counseling matters.

Prior to attending law school, David worked in the technology, media/entertainment, and banking industries.  His pre-law business experience and education make him a more effective litigator and advocate for workers.

While in law school, David was an Articles Editor and Board member for The Santa Clara Law Review and served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge James Ware of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

David speaks Mandarin Chinese and limited Spanish.  A California native, he resides in Silicon Valley with his wife, two children, and dog (a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix). When he’s not working, David enjoys hiking, reading, and playing soccer.
